Hood College, Department of Biology is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track opening at the Assistant Professor level for a broadly trained biologist beginning August 1, 2018. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and the liberal arts, ongoing scholarly research and service to the department and College. Based on their expertise and interests, the successful candidate is expected to teach in the undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as actively mentor and conduct research with undergraduate and graduate students. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in immunology and cancer biology and undergraduate courses in human anatomy & physiology for nursing students. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in an appropriate biological discipline; postdoctoral work and teaching experience are preferred.
