Position Summary Information
To teach all levels of Biology at the Alexandria campus.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach Biology particularly Bio 101 and Bio 102, to a diverse student population including majors and non-majors. Provide advising for students. Attend relevant professional development opportunities.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree from an accredited institution plus 18 credits in Biology or related field. Applicants must be skilled in basic instructional technology and familiar with learning management system such as Canvas or Blackboard.
PhD in Biology is preferred. Experience teaching various modes including hybrid is a plus. Experience teaching a diverse student population. College-level and community college teaching experience preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong English language communications skills. Ability to use learning management system such as Canvas or Blackboard.
