Job Description:

Aerotek is currently hiring a Quality Control Lab Technician for a resins manufacturing plant.

About the Position:

  • Full time, long term
  • Located in Detroit


  • The QC lab is responsible for testing all raw materials, in process products and finished products to make sure they are meetings specifications.
  • Throughout the day this person will be brought samples and will retrieve samples from the plant floor.
  • Once the test are completed they will have to record the results and enter them into the computer. This will happen every shift, every day.
  • Will be running multiple tests at once to ensure all specifications are met.
  • Test methods will consist of physical testing including viscosity tests, GC, GPC, and matching up foundry components


  • Bachelors degree in the Sciences (Chemistry or Biochemistry or Biology)
  • Exposure to working in a lab in school or in the field
  • Shift flexibility, training on first then full time on the night shift


  • 4PM - 4:30AM
  • Rotating shift (will work two days, then have three days off)
  • Some weekends required
