REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related discipline and previous research experience as a research assistant, lab manager or similar position as well as project and personnel management.
Strong detail orientation, ability to multi-task, along with computer proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledge and interest in social psychology preferred.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
The Lab Tech III will gain intimate knowledge of the research process by overseeing the implementation of lab and field studies, supervising research assistants and handling lab communications. Research projects in the lab include many field studies and experiments that examine how people’s social identities and group memberships interact with the contexts they encounter to affect their thoughts, feelings, behavior, physiology and motivation.
