Job Description:
CaroMont Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work on a relief basis at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To operate scintillation detectors and computers which produce images and measure concentrations of radionuclides in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for diagnosis.
- To assist with the therapeutic administration of radionuclides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
- Registered by CNMT or ARRT.
- Thorough knowledge and skill in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Considerable ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment and examinations. are introduced into the department.
- Current BLS certification required.
