Job Description:
Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS is searching for a Instrumentation Scientist in Malvern, Pa.

Title responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
  • Represent API to support new and revised product development and launches, including providing guidance on API requirements and attending project meetings as required.
  • Provide recommendations on testing & stability requirements and other pertinent information to formulators or external manufacturing sites
  • Attend API group cross-site meetings
  • Assess product changes, investigations, ingredient switches, reformulations and site changes
  • Project work - to be assigned based on department priorities for API
  • Follow all safety, camp's and documentation for a API laboratory
  • Execute general API laboratory procedures and Malvern/ Spring House campus procedures as related to routine sample management(SAM) and testing
  • Implement Product and Services / API including:
    • Support sample analysis for in process testing
    • Support stability study for all projects requesting testing from operation team
    • Conduct purification of NME at various stages of development
    • Support sample preparation via digestion
    • submission for SAM testing
    • Provide analytical techniques
    • Provide BioHt and SOLO/VPE support
    • Pre-NME project support
    • Support CAR-t project activities in Malvern and Spring House
    • Support cell culture activities
    • Support project related cell culture and purification
    • Provide specific technologies centered around cell culture and purification activities
  • Prepare documentation for review / release
  • Coordinate testing schedules within work group
The ideal candidate would possess :
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Experience in workflow process
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
•Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, computer programming or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major) •Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time, core hours Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Malvern, Pa. are encouraged to apply.
